If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. It's impossible for us to know for certain if Carrie actually signed the item herself, so you should compare signatures. Carrie's signature is fairly close together and not very easy to make out, with big loops and usually a big C and big U. Anything claiming to have been signed before 2005 is certainly fake.
